Unraveling the Incompleteness of Traditional Church Teachings with Crystal Partee
SHOW NOTES: Episode 28
In today’s episode, I brought on Crystal Partee. Crystal is a friend and fellow graduate student with me at Wheaton College. Today we are unraveling the “incompleteness” of traditional church teachings. The gospel can often feel “incomplete” as we learned from one of our professors.
We also talk about how as believers, we are often not telling the whole story of Jesus. Crystal and I chat through this and how we can flip that script. We also talk a lot about our existence and how God wanted a family and wants us to truly be a part of His family. We talk about loving others and how we should love everyone, not just believers. We often can group people as “Christians” or “Non-Christians” but we often are “missing it” when it comes doing as we are called - loving others. This doesn’t mean we have to agree but we are called to love them and lead by example.
